Maybe one less from gene pool
So much for packing a, um, rod By JAMIE SCHRAM
It's a lesson he should have learned from Plaxico Burress -- but this was worse.
A 15-year-old Brooklyn boy shot himself in the penis Sunday after fumbling with a gun that had slid from his waistband, authorities said yesterday.
Khamir Grant was then arrested for reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon -- the same charges levied against Burress, who shot himself at a Manhattan nightclub in 2008, law-enforcement sources said. Grant told cops that he was walking home from Amersfort Park at East 39th Street and Avenue J in East Flatbush around 1:30 a.m., when the gun began to fall into his pants, sources said. When Grant grabbed for it, he accidentally pulled the trigger, firing a bullet right through his penis.Grant staggered home and told his mom what had happened, sources said. They took a livery car to Kings County Hospital, where Grant was released after treatment and then arrested by police.
Ah darn!!! What the hell is a 15 year old kid walking down the street at 1:30 in the moring? Better yet what they hell is he doing with a gun? And maybe he will not be able to procreate.

I was led to believe that it was illegal to have guns in that town.
Well, he was under age so the rules don't apply
Yeah, let us hope that renders him unable to reproduce.

I'll take the heat, and say, I'm sorry to hear this happened. Just not a good thing to go through, would not wish it on anyone (well, other then child molesters / rapists).

There are so many things wrong with this I can't count them. A juvenile out, for all purposes, all night. Carrying a gun. Parent(s) clueless. Firearm is, obviously, condition one and the safety is off. Children, can you spell "gangsta in training". The only thing I can see here that might have saved the general public some grief is the point of impact could've been higher. Until we as a society start treating children who act like adults accordingly we're going to step in this sort of feces on a regular basis.

I have been out at 1:30 AM on search and rescue call outs. Even in small towns you would be amazed at the number of local thugs out at that time. By the way, both boys and girls.
