Man buried with car & GUNS....What are your plans?

Saw this article about a man who died & is buried with his favorite car & his guns.....
MAN BURIED IN CAR|Weekly World News

....A man had his burial wishes fulfilled, after being buried in his beloved 1973 Catalina with all of his guns!

Lonnie Holloway passed away last Thursday, after a fruitful 90 years of life. His family acquiesced to his burial wishes, and he was buried in his car at the Rock Hill Baptist Church. “This is what Mr. Holloway wanted,” said the pastor.

His cousin, Leila Dunn, said she wasn’t surprised by his strange requests, as he was a “stylin’ and profilin’ kind of guy.”

“This was a day everyone should remember,” said Dunn. “It went down in history.”

More surprisingly, all of his guns were placed in the trunk of the car. Family members said he didn’t want them to get into the wrong hands, so he decided they’d go with him as well!

Rodney Minick, a wrecker owner, was contacted a year earlier, to find out if he would be open to helping with the funeral when the time came. The machine was used to lower the car into the massive grave. .....
It was his property & he can do as he wishes....on the other hand it's a waste...........

I'm okay with the car...at least it isn't a valuable muscle car. However, did he really need to take the guns with him?

I know I can't 'take them with me, at least not in the way he did. I've spent a LOT of money on them & to just bury them in ground would be a huge waste. I plan on leaving some of my firearms to people who will appreciate them. The remaining ones, my family can decide how to keep, sell or gift......

What are your plans for yours when the time comes?

Would you, um, happen to have the GPS coordinates of the grave?

Just so's I could pay my respects, of course.

I know you are all joking but it is a very real possibility. Someone may have just found their weapons cache. Bad idea I think if your motivation was to keep them out of hands. If you are going to waste them like that, might as well destroy them.

I plan on having a 45 in each hand, and a 870 on my back. I hear hell has a rough welcoming committee.

The rest go to my kids.

I'll bet the guy was a real corker. No bets as to whether all of his shootin irons sho'nuf got buried. I knew several old codgers that gave away at least some guns before their 'time'. They were crafty old critters.

I plan on leaving all my guns to a younger brother. He's not that interested in guns but he's my only alternative. He's the only one who has expressed any interest in guns at all in my family.
