Day 2 of quitting smoking.....
I finally decided to quit smoking, I threw them away at noon on Thursday.:king::banana:
What did you that have quit do to change the behaviors associated with smoking? I bought the Industrial size Orbit gum pack, and a HUGE bag of Werther's.
I have reloaded all of the brass I have, I think I'll go empty it at the range so I can reload it again:hand5:
Great decision - Hang in There
I quit when my son, about 3 1/2 years old, looked up at me and said he was gonna do that like Daddy when he grew up. I had tried to quit many times before and failed.
My son is now 21 and I've never gone back to smoking.
You have to change some other habits to help you quit. Stop going to places that were mainly associated with your smoking. Stop doing things that always seemed to require a smoke - drinking is an activity and place that can be a problem.
Like others have said, find things to keep you too busy to think about it. And washing everything like you said is great. You may even consider repainting the rooms that have the most smoke "damage".
Good luck.
