No way! It seemed for a while there like he was ready to do battle to the end no matter what. He did put up a valiant effort though.

Oh man, that SNL Chippendale's skit with Patrick and Chris Farley was the quintessential comedy bit of Chris Farley. Always rated as my #1 favorite comedy skit.

Swayze was such a great sport doing that bit with Farley. Great to see that clip again. Thanks for posting it!

Red Dawn will alway be a film I enjoy watching. As much as I hope & pray this scenario never comes to pass, I enjoy this film each time I watch it. This film keeps me wondering about the future of our great nation.

    RIP, Patrick Swayze!

Truly a great person and actor. He will be missed. I think I will watch Red Dawn right now in his honor.

Don't forget Uncommon Valor, with Gene Hackman. It came out the year before Red Dawn.

I didn't remember him in that movie, now I'll have to go watch it again.

He certainly was a fighter. I have lost family members to panc cancer and usually by the time you find out it is WAY too late to do anything other than get your affairs in order.
