I hope you find him soon. It's no fun having one run away for awhile.
Maybe he heard tell of the "Cone Collar" reunion, in town this week:

She'll turn up, as dogs are more resourceful then we give them credit for...you'll have her tomorrow.
Tonight she's probably having dinner and 'dessert' with some German Shepherd...you know how those Germans are...
I'd be worrying too, but they almost always find a way back.

Said a prayer, hope it's answered soon.
If I gave a crap about what you think about my guns.....it was early this morning and I already flushed it!

Did she have dog tags?
Even a rabies tag can be tracked back to the vet.

Bummer. My dog ran thru the side gate as I walked out Sunday afternoon. Naturally, when I called him, he flipped me off and took off for the woods.
I screamed after him "FINE - I hope freakin' snake bites you!" Oddly enough, he turned around on that one and came back...

Yeah, when we last saw her, her tags were still attached. She's also microchipped. I know, if someone finds her (as long as they're honest), I'll get her back.

Good luck in getting her back. Next time, she may want to tie her to a car.
It took me several months to find a 'show dog' puppy that I had that a neighbor let out of the back yard. He was a skiddish jumpy dog after living that long in the country on his own.

Good luck and I hope you get her back. ...and when you do get her back...train her more. You should be able to tell her to stay and she should park her furry butt in one place and NOT MOVE NO MATTER WHAT. Wyle Coyote should be able to drop a piano right next to her and she snubs him unless you give her the go code.

At any rate, she's half husky half english mastiff. she did have a tag when she ran, whether her collar stayed on or not is another question. She is micro-chipped though.
We've called around to local shelters and animal controls. No one has seen her. The vets I've talked to are on the lookout also. So far, no one has called us regarding ANYTHING. I take that as a good sign. We don't really live in a remote area, if she was hurt, or dead, someone would have noticed. She's also registered on HomeAgain® - Always looking out for your pet so the notice that she's missing went out to all the vets and shelters within a 25 mile radius. As long as someone honest finds her and turns her in, we should know about it.
