It didn't bring me here tonight because I'm at work but this is the one I just put together...

The processor is a QX9650 with 8g of PC8500 DDR2... Vid Card not pictured was a GTX 9800 Black Box Edition that I had laying around will be upgrading that to a couple of ATI cards in Crossfire config once I get funds.

And yes my cable management skills suck thats still on the list of things that need to be done.

    Painfully cool case, Gunner...

Apple MacBook. Bought it last year, it was out dated by the time I walked out of BestBuy with it.

I have a ME computer, as in built by me. I call it a PU, since it is in a state of perpetual upgrade, as soon as some new goodie comes out, I gotta have it

Today I'm on a Gateway Solo 1450 laptop that originally had 256MB of memory and had XP as the OS. A friend had a spare 128 chip and I upgraded the OS to Jaunty (Xubuntu 9.04, modified to LXDE).

When I get back from ANCOC, I'll be on a home made machine with a dual core 3 GHz 64 bit processor, 4GB of memory, an Nvidia 9800GT video card, 250 and 320 GB hard drives (dual swap partitions FTW!) running Hardy (Ubuntu 8.04 LTS)

I don't go with the high-dollar 'puters anymore. Currently using an e-Machine that I bought at Wally World for less than $400 with 2 gig RAM, 320 gig HD, and a decent 19" flat panel monitor.

Funny you should ask, my Dell Dimension's DVD drive just physically locked up. The piece o' poop is about 3 years old and has very little mileage...

Another Macbook laptop here, a refurbished one at that:

Refurbished Mac - Apple Store (U.S.)

I installed Windows XP on it as well (you can restart in either the Mac OS or xP). The Mac experience is much more reliable and simple, but occasionally I really need to run some PC software...
