Its pupils are incredibly dilated. I'm sure that's the explanation of why it is so calm under that running water.

If someone was crazy enough to try and get my 14 year old cranky Siamese cat that close to a faucet they would be in the ER for hours getting cleaned/stitched up!

That's funny, crazy cat. I agree, most of the cats I've seen don't like water to much.

I have one who will drink from a slowly running faucet. She turns her head sideways and drinks, then washes her feet trying to catch the running water.
Very clean kitty, she also washes her toys in the water bowl.

Those people should teach the cat to turn the water off when it's finished drinking.

Looks like our cat at work. She likes to drink from the beakers of fresh tap water when we are done testing it.

While the majority of cats aren't fond of water, except to drink it. Some love the water. I had one who used to jump in the bathtub full of water and just stand in it, another would come in the shower with me. Cats are like most other animals, you can't apply a general rule of thumb to cover them all.

    Must. Drink. Fur. Watteh!

My female cat will do this to a smaller degree with slowly running water from the bathroom sink. If it is an a glass, she will dip her paws and drink the water, milk etc from them. Hot chocolate is one of her all time favorites!

For some odd reason that cat only likes to drink the water that drips down off of his head.
That is really strange behavior for any cat.
That's a new one on me.
