Personally, I wouldnt kill one of God's creation without a good reason.
If the spider is minding its own buisness and doing what spiders do, I'll just leave it be to catch the other little critters that fly into its web.
I belive that each and every living thing needs to be left alone to live as it should, even spiders. IF they are the mean kind, then by all means eliminate it or at least move it to a different spot where it cant interfere with your plans.
Its important to respect all of creation. I think that indiscrimatley killing things it not good for the mind or soul.
Unless of course it's a tick or a chigger and then it deserves to die.
I would rather stand against the cannons of the wicked than against the prayers of the righteous.

Like custom guns and stuff? Check this out...
I would be impressed that the DD actually came up with a statement of being ironic.
Most would just scream, squeal and run and hide.
Give the daughter a high five and tell her to thank a teacher....
Don't you people know that a shoe is the correct tool to kill spiders?
Sheesh, just ask my wife, she'll set you straight!

A fly killing a spider would be pretty ironic too. Just saying.
I believe in respecting most creatures. However a little girl in my sunday school class was bitten on her face by a brown recluse. After seeing what that did to her face (after she had spent a couple months in the hospital) I will walk out of my way to step on a spider.
I did recently come across the biggest scariest looking spider I'd seen in I don't know how long recently here at work. I didn't step on it. I jumped from a good stride length away and landed on it as hard as I could. Unfortunately I then had to clean up the mess.
