    A New Store!!!

    We got a New Store!
Finally opened up a Sportsman's Warehouse in my town. It suppose to open up this weekend but they opened it early and the Grand opening is Saturday and Sunday.

I went in and looked around. Lots and Lots of goodies to choose from too...

I was in there for about 45 minutes when a Young kid came up to me and asked me to Leave. For What? I asked him...

He just pointed to the Sign on the wall... "No Drooling on the Merchandise" oh man,,, they have a No Drooling policy. I guess I am going to have to wear a bib next time.

But i did get a 10 dollar gift certificate in the mail today. I'm going to have to get some goodies.

Sportsmans also give 5% discount to military ID cards, for me that's the sales tax. My family calls it the dead store because of all the animal heads

try and find someone in your area who is into reloading and pick their brain. Spent many hours reloading someone else's rounds just to gain some knowledge on the subject. there are also some very good books out there. Just be careful when you start, one mistake can make for a very day

A small town near here is trying to lure in Cabella's. I'm thinking that might kill (or at least heavily injure) our Sportsman's Warehouse. I can sympathize with the waiting and drooling part.

    Sounds good.

Closest I got that was when a few months ago Gander Mtn opened up in Johnstown - just 25 miles away. First look was a browse but second look a week later, I came out with another Contender barrel.

Boy, they have some inventory - racks and racks of longarms and cases of handguns - total paradise (except for possible effect on pocket book or plastic .)

I seen lots of rifles but they were pretty short on handguns at my store. Maybe they haven't put them up yet. But the ammo was all over the place.

I plan to go to the ribbon cutting Saturday when the reps are there and are giving out free stuff. LOL...

The ads that I have read usually said 500 rifles and 500 pistols.

It looked like about 50 to me unless they were counting their stock. lol...

I'll go Saturday and count again.
