For those of us who have never been in the military it's difficult if not impossible to fully understand the difficulty and strength and patriotism it takes to say goodbye for what possible could be forever. I wish the world was a place where we didn't need a military at all so no family would have to experience this. Since the world is what it is, I'm proud of the hero's that serve and their families. I pray for the safe return of every single one of them and wish that our leaders had the same guts and true patriotism. I believe that America cries at night when no one is looking. She cries for the blood that has been shed to protect her, and over those in office who swore to protect her yet do not. My home and my heart is a home to any soldier that may pass through, a resting place for a weary family member of a soldier, and a place where America thrives. Thank you to all who do and have served for the life you have allowed me to live in this great nation.
If I gave a crap about what you think about my guns.....it was early this morning and I already flushed it!

Well, Ramrod surprised me. I didn't picture him as a cat lover. Gotta love a big burly dude like that who loves cats.

Really? His dog is smaller than a cat.

That cat probably brought him home for just a moment in time... Nice pic, reminds us of the sacrifice of these everyday people in extraordinary circumstances.
