Yeah...I'm a cat lover too! I'm with our military overseas more than you know. I have family over there now. May God bless all of our soldiers, and bring them home safe and sound.

I'm reminded of our patrols in Bosnia.
We stopped in Srebrenica where the local pack of dogs escorted us through town.
We would stop, set up comms, and normally cook up some MREs for the muts.
Nice pic.
always nice to find a little tenderness in an unsuspected place.
He's got the 'power', yet the 'gentleness', too, a great combo...:yup:
The kid looks sixteen years old.
That is a great picture as I am also a cat lover. Little versions of the great cats....and they live in our homes with us. Pretty cool.
Judging by the brow boots, and the helmet, that looks to be a British soldier. But, if that is the case, then why is he carrying an M-16?
Thats a cool pic.
Looks Israeli to me
Heres a good one I saw yesterday.

And heres the story...
Little Soldier Girl "Didn't Want to Let Go" | NBC Philadelphia
Nice captured moment.
I've seen the puddy tat picture before.
A moment of normalcy, a quiet kindness, something to balance the utter strangeness of being a warfighter and in a foreign land.
The pic of the little girl Coastie posted, the four year old holding Daddy's hand while he and his fellows are in formation ...
were I to title that one, it would be "Why We Fight!"
But then I am an old softy and make no apologies for that fact.
