I saw a TV commercial for one last night, it looks like a cool little phone for sure.

I went through several phones before I found the BB curve. I'm pretty happy with it for now, but I'm always lookin for the latest and greatest.. I'll check one out if T-mobile carries um. My luck, they wont offer the Droid.

    Had the Treo's also...600, 650, 700...
    Had the Blackberry's....Curve, Storm, Pearl...
Had the Windoze ones...HTC Mogul, Diamond....

Refused to go the iPhone route...

What made me jump on the Droid is OS and the fact that Verizon has nothing locked out on the phone...everything is wide open!

I'm so jealous....i haven't gotten my hands on one yet but I think this will be my next phone. I have an old moto Q...the only thing i'm not looking towards is buying the Data plan...never had to have it yet.

How does the keyboard feel? I've heard some reviews that people don't like it too much? I don't really care since i will more then likely use the touch screen to type primarily.

Keyboard is a tad small for my meathooks, but most things can be done with the onscreen keyboards...

how about compared thickness to the iphone or other touch phones?

I heard it had a solid feel to it, i work in an office most days so I'm not to concerned with weight or size as long as it fits in a pocket i don't care. uggghhhhh.... i want one right now! haha i need to go over lunch and see it at my local Verizon store. I can't wait for the android open platform and apps!

The Droid is a Verizon phone. Tmobile has their own line of phones that run the Android OS.

I know the android platform has been out for a while, I'm just excited Verizon has a quality touch phone with it on here and for me personally...something worth upgrading too.

And I am soooo glad Motorola is the manufacturer. I like samsung/htc/LG ect. I've never had a bad Motorola experience yet *knocking on wood* and hope this continues with the Droid.

I am planning on upgrading to one as well. I have been using LG phones lately & have had nothing but good experiences with them, but my 2 yr. extension is up & time for a change....
