    Funny you should mention that...

    In the several situations I've encountered as an LEO when a gun was involved, the responses by various LEO's from various agencys seem to be almost universal...

    the first challenge...."drop the gun"....a request...polite but firm with the attitude that if you drop it everything wil lbe alright...

    the second..."DROP the GUN"....a demand with a bit of stress in the voice...the situation is getting worse and you are thinking of the possibilitys...

    and the third and usually the last...a shout at the top of your lungs....DROP THE *******GUN ! You have taken up 3 pounds of slack on a 4 pound trigger and realize that
    the situation is extremely serious.. .


    On a lighter note...
