My avatar should explain mine. The one in the middle is mine and the other two are his mother and sister. He was just a puppy in that picture.

Over the last 18 years I've raised two rotties and I love the breed.

First off it is not dirty!
When i first started online gameing I just used Hardcore, because of my particular taste in music. It was pretty generic so one of my teamates asked where i lived. when i said Nevada he started callin me "Slots" for slotmachines. The two eventually merged and here I am!

Everyone's been calling me "Bunny" for ages. I guess it's just a nickname that stuck.

The "edr" part came from the engraving inlaid in gold script on the slide of my STI 38 super open gun, which read "El Diablo Rojo". The gun was hard chromed with a red C-More sight and a red grip.

The 9x23 part came along when I finally sold the gun and used the proceeds to build EDRs successor, an STI carry gun chambered to shoot either 38 super or 9x23 Winchester. When I shoot an IDPA match, 38 super goes in the gun, when I carry it 9x23 Silvertips go in the gun.....Pretty lethal combination.

Hence, edr9x23super.

It's where we live & we value our privacy, so to help discourage visitors.....the name just fit. (I wanted to hang a noose from the end of the 'gallows' & a skull & crossbones from the sign bottom......but the wife said that was a little much.....)

Mine is from a character on the old SCTV show. For those that don't remember it, it was a career launch board for quite a few stars as shown here.......

"Second City TV" (1976)

Anyway, on the show they did a satirical version of a childrens show I watched growing up called The Friendly Giant.

"The Friendly Giant" (1958)

This was originally an American show from the 50's that made it's way to Canada and played for many many years. The SCTV version was, shall we say, slightly more redneck and the character of Rusty the rooster was replaced by GunnyBunny.

When I was thinking up a handle, it just came back to me so I went with it.

The kids in Vietnam used to call me Tiwee. That or BacSee. They were all mix up since BacSee was not as good looking.
