I have no clue and the guy who started calling me Paco doesn't remember why. We were both IT consultants and on the same contract (Dallas Cowboys) and he just started calling me Paco one day and 10 years later it is still around.

The funny thing is I am not Hispanic, but when I leave my name at a restaurant here in TX and my name is called, then this bald white guy with a beard walks up I get some great looks.

Mine means I do not like Weimeraners!
I do everything the voices in my wife's head tell me to do!

Long ago in a galaxy far away I worked as a volunteer with a group of fellow Vietnam vets developing the prototype for the Vet Centers. Our unofficial "motto" was Pax Mentis ("Peace of Mind" in Latin)...I kept the motto as my ongoing goal/focus and have used it in various places on the internet since the mid 90s.

Abandonhope, it's nice to know I'm not the only buddhist gun nut!

Anicca is a Pali word which means impermanence. I thought it a good reminder that nothing lasts forever (good or bad), so I should make the most of now.

Friends started calling me "grady" back in the 70's. Still do.
