It is surely true that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. Nor can you make them grateful for your efforts.

It was almost as bad in central Virginia. It took the city nearly a week to dig out.

We got more snow coming down too. And since your Bungles destroyed my Steelers this year I'll have plenty more time to play outside instead of being trapped inside watching those pesky playoffs.

AaachTimmy, you can keep it. Here in the Detroit area we have about a half inch on the grass, nothing on the pavement, and I'm hoping to keep it that way. Forecast is for an inch or so overnight, no thanks.
BTW the Cowboys shut out the Eagles.

Don't forget about the Browns' win against them also :).

I do miss the snow in Northeast Ohio.

Glad to hear you're ok. Being in Colorado, the first thought on reading your title was that you were skiing and buried in an avalanche...whew!

    RugerGirl sez...

Ahhh, my 2 favorite teams... the Buccaneers, and anyone playing the Eagles...

Raised in Geauga County - currently about 8-12 inches of snow in parts (according to the report from the guy who runs the family farm). 18 degrees.

Now live in Wood County - currently snowing, 1 inch on the ground, 21 degrees and windy. Some people say that the windiest spot in North America is Mt. Washington in New Hampshire. Nope, it's the BP Gas Station at Wooster St and I-75 in Bowling Green.

    I miss the Keys ;~)
