Wasn't it packinova that wanted some snow to go with the cold weather?
Well I've got your snow! This is what happens when one person jinxes every one else.

We actually got a little bit here. About 4 inches. Its comical to watch the people panic over a little snow. The news stations are all snow 24 hours; nothing else is happening, its snowing! Its like its a huge event, Snow in the northern U.S. in Jan... who woulda thought.

Yes, I do believe it was Packinova in a previous posting who wanted some snowfall.
I'd be willing to "export" a bit of ours to him, as he suggested to me in his reply.
However, we only recieved 2" and we cannot spare any at the moment! LOL!
How about you guys up North in MI, OH or NY?

Well, snow is a fact of life for us. Others just can't seem to remember that around this time last year, IT SNOWED! And the year before, and the year before.......
Some people can get excited and jubilant about it if they want. Personally, I don't see any reason to WISH for snow.

There is apparently a SLIGHT possibility we will get some flurries tonight.
That would be kind of nice. We don't get snow often (if you can call flurries real snow).

We're starting to pile up here.
Pretty amazing...last night it was snowing in flat mirror-like little flakes.
Each of the billions of little flakes was reflecting the street lights and it was pretty amazing looking on the ground.
Everything sparkled like crazy.
Missouri has been hit hard this year. We can usually expect snow, but not like we've been getting.
And what's worse are the temperatures. High today will be ZERO.
Tonight, we're supposed to set a record of 15 below (not including windshill).
I heard on the news today that a snow plow driver was shot in the back last night. The shooter has not been identified. What's up with that? Let the man work! Those guys have been working 24/7!!!
Sometimes on a clear day, I can see into the future with this spotting scope.
Lol yeah...that was me... I only got a measly inch last night...I'll be taking orders for import shortly.
I really don't mind another one of those 2 1/2 - 3 footers again. That was fun...Shoveling for 3-4 days straight is good exercise. Yeah I know...glutton for punishment and all...
edit...
Patti can keep the 15 below...yikes! I can deal with upper single digits, but 15 below not counting windchill...double yikes!

Just an inch or two here. But I'm sure the grocery stores are being raided and the shelves are bare....

All of our snow hadn't melted from the pre-Christmas snow and we've added a few inches back to the total. Right now the roads outside my office are white. Says 9 degrees too so I guess it's hard to melt. It's 72 in here so all is good.
