I decided to only get my wife a water softner for the house after almost 17 years of marriage, the past 5 1/2 in Indiana.

The water here has so many minerals in it, that it could be used by David to slay Goliath.

I know that it's not a Kimber, but the towels will be all soft. She'll just have to wait until next year.

It's our 6th mother's day, one week shy of our 10th wedding anniversary. (!!!!!!)

She has askd for a power washer, and she is getting me bowhunting lessons for father's day.

We are hicks apparently, and I couldn't be happier. :)

RSSZ, I've never been married, but my girlfriend is a mother. She told me never to get her anything that plugs in, except if it's a massage chair.

I think you will be in the dog house......

treated mom to a fancy buffet and the Artie Shaw Orchestra last weekend - old school big band.

I think mom (early 60's) and I (early 30's) were the youngest two in the audience - good music knows no age barrier.

    Talking

I'm taking my wife to the NRA Basic Pistol course for Mothers Day! (Thanks for the heads-up a couple months back, Chris!)

Of course, I'm in the doghouse already for "making" her attend, and now that she realizes its Mother's Day weekend too, I'm really in trouble ;-)

    No better gift Brian!!!

At least we are reckoning to do a bit more tomorrow and so finish earlier Sunday - but still get the requisite hours in.

    See ya there
