Anyone care to guess who introduced this bill?

Looks like she's trolling for 2008 votes. Who else are 5 million felons going to vote for other than someone who's soft on crime and wants to disarm their victims?
That is if they bother to vote at all. As a general rule, felons aren't the most "civic minded" folks. I guess we can be grateful for that.

Maybe Hillary wants to be able to vote once her past finally catches up with her and they eventually put her in the slammer.

I just got my alert from the NRA. They enclosed three postcards to mail off to my Senators & Reps. Thought I'd post the statement in case you want to forward to your own Sens & Reps. Obviously you may want to edit, but here goes:
I am an NRAA member and constituent who is going to vote in this November's congressional elections. I strongly oppose passage of S.450. This bill could give as many as five million convicted felons nationwide the right to vote.
Criminals -- especially violent felons -- forfeited their voting rights when they broke the law. I don't want my vote cancelled out by a felon's vote. I will be watching closely to see how you vote on this issue.
Sincerely,
Fellow Guys and Gals, I urge you to contact your own reps and let them know this is really a bad idea.
