    Wink Home on the Range

Since for some of you, the shooting range is your home away from home, I had a little fun coming up with new lyrics for "Home on the Range."

Oh give me a home where the shooters all roam
    With guns every caliber made,
Where seldom is asked “Got a permit for that?”
And the range fees are already paid.

    Home, home on the range
Where the Glocks and the SigSauers play,
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
And never a shot goes astray.

Oh give me a land where the gun in my hand
Hits its mark every time that I aim
Where the hollowpoints zing and the recoil don’t sting
And the bad guys are always fair game.

    Home, home on the range
Where the Glocks and the SigSauers play,
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
And never a shot goes astray.

Where the gunpowder’s pure and the bullets are free
And the breezes smell faintly of Hoppes
Well, I would not exchange my home on the range
For all of the world’s finest cops.

    Home, home on the range
Where the Glocks and the SigSauers play,
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
And never a shot goes astray.

How often at night when the heavens are bright
With the light of the glittering stars
I stand there amazed and exclaim as I gaze
“With my laser, I really shoot far!”

    Home, home on the range
Where the Glocks and the SigSauers play,
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
And never a shot goes astray.

love it! How creative! Thanks for sharing it!
It's not about the caliber you carry, it's about how you USE it.

That was very good. Someone needs to record that and post it on the internet.

Liberty Gal ~ That was great but, I'm positive that you people don't want me to sing it and record it for the Internet.
    I don't sing very well.

That's good, I like. Now, if we can get someone to sing it and record it on their computer and then pass it out as a file (please, and no, I can't sing unless you like the sound of fingernails on a chalkboard).
