I'm not sure of other areas but around here that's a good price and I'm lucky enough to have a Cabela's 25 minutes away.

What's the deal with the Magtech?
I picked a few boxes up.
acparmed had MagTech in his RRA 1911 which blew up - thread about that tho link not to hand.
I have only used 44 mag magTech but with that have been well satisfied - good hot mag ammo, good results.

I will tell ya mag tech is loaded HOT the 454 and 500 smith i shot were loaded way hot compared to same loadings by other makers some sticky extraction with it so i know it was to far up there

I got 4 boxes, 2 Magtech and 2 S&B. I wanted to try to compare.
I do shoot +P Golden Sabres w no problem.
Think I might be safe w just 2 boxes of MT? Cabelas won't let you return or exchange ammo.
BTW Chris, I see you're certified NRA Instructor, I just ordered my NRA membership.

Shoot the Magtech. Just make sure you have safety glasses on and close your eyes!

<----My LT was unhappy that I did not have my PASS-Tag at that fire. But I found the body so he said he would overlook it. :)

yep i would shoot it and see just keep all your safety gear on
