Anyone familiar with golf rules?
About 3 years ago I had a bad car accident and when I had trouble sleeping at night because of the pain from a badly broken leg, I would watch the golf channel. Well I started getting into golf. I have been meaning to tag along with a friend for a while, but haven't had the chance. I'm wondering if this is legal in golf.
ARR-225 - AR-15 and M4 and M16 Golfball Launcher Threaded and Machined Out of Solid Stock
If that is legal, I will be looking for someone to go golfing with. preferable with comparable hardware.
I'm not looking to go to the NBA, but if Serena Williams can play, I'm pretty sure I could BS my way through an inning.

Advancing the ball has to be made by a golf swing, constituting a stroke whether or not the ball is struck. You'd be assessed penalties for every time you had to move the ball when not initiating a stroke, and unless you were hitting the hole every shot your score would be abysmal. Good luck.
...lol
Checked website, I'd still out-drive you hehe. I want one though!

That really depends on where you play or intend to play golf.Private course or public course/ regular tee time or tournament/....most of the time USGA rules govern the game of golf anyplace you play...and that equipment would most likely not meet the USGA spec on equipment...

I'm just one root in a grassroots organization. No one should assume that I speak for the VCDL.
I am neither an attorney-at-law nor I do play one on television or on the internet. No one should assumes my opinion is legal advice.

Good point. Probably because ATF hasn't had their greedy hands on it yet.
Pretty soon you may need a tax stamp to build a potato gun out of plumbing pipes.

Less than lethal rounds, prior to firing ya gotta yell fore, that way after ya bean the guy with one he will p himself expecting the next 3 ,I saw a guy get hit under the arm with a shanked golf ball after it bounced once,it looked and sounded really painfull

Sounds fair to me. The bunch of guys I've played golf with can't count over 4 anyway.
