    Novel clock

After morning IDPA yesterday - I went over to Johnstown to meet my son who was shooting in the Tombstone at his local trap club. He managed a good third place.

After, there was some food and BS and prizes given out - and this was winner prize, made by one of the old guys in the club. Great piece of work IMO and novel aspects.

The clock itself is a battery unit but, each position on clock face is a cartridge base. The pseudo weights are shotshells and the pendulum is a thick disk of copper.

The top four ''pillars'' - often wood, are here each four .243 cartridges linked and soldered.

Nicely made piece and thought you might like to see it.

    That's a nice trophy!

Does it chime with the sound of a 12 ga. firing at the top of the hour?

Bob - son didn't win it - he was third place and that was going to winner.

He did tho finish up with about $100 in cash winnings plus a $50 gift cert for local gun shop.
