Like I ever heard of a Nerf getting killed with a gun

This should be reworded "U of C Bans Toys Intended for Children." Aren't college students supposed adults? So much nannying. The school is not their parent. If I'm paying tens of thousands of dollars to attend, I should at least be considered responsible enough to have a Nerf Gun and not becoming a homicidal maniac. Universities train tomorrows leaders but don't trust them with Nerf guns? I want to punch something.

its another zero tolerance policy. The BS that people can come up with is unbelievable. I have yet to see a nerf gun look real... no matter what they paint it with.
There is something about firing 4,200 thirty millimeter rounds/min that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I'm all for the ban on Nerf guns. By college age they should have been outgrown and replaced by the old style cap guns.

Ya know... in some countries, children are encouraged to play with assault rifles so they can... well you know...

Yeah, guns are bad, don't defend yourself, save the criminals...
One of the most dangerous political philosophies afflicting America today is the belief that we canít allow anyone to suffer the natural consequences of their own stupidity.

Its not even about that... its about a bunch of kids playing a game. The pranks, games and play of the youth harshly punished to drive an agenda that has nothing to do with the game they where playing... the future of America where brandishing a nerf gun could land you in jail

"its nerf, or nothin" Well the college wants you to have nothin...

I see a new market for all those shoplifted Nerf guns from Wal-Mart.

Imagine an old beat up truck with several hidden in the bed under an oil stained tarp in the parking lot of the University and a rough looking individual selling them to any willing taker.

It could generate a recovery in our economy.

A more serious side, the stupidity of somethings never ceases to amaze me.

And people wonder why our colleges and universities are in the crapper? From the same institution which brought us Ward Churchill.

All airguns are banned in the dorm I work for, and religiously enforced. Not so much to be anti gun, but the damages are quite extensive. Shattered bulbs and whatnot everywhere.

But, even we don't have a problem with nerf guns.
Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men.

They should just switch to concealed nerf carry.
