Thief Gets Stereo Upgrade

The father had a nice 280Z. It was several years old, all stock, and almost immaculate. One weekend night the passenger window was broken out and the OEM stereo was stolen.

The father replaced the window immediately and the stereo later that week. That weekend the passenger window was again broken out, the new stereo was stolen, and the old OEM stereo was left in the passenger seat.

I have a real friend (Not one of those friends of a friend stories) his father worked for grumman many years ago. One morning there walked into work and 30 plus car batterys were pulled from the vehicles and broken up in a pile. they could not understand why somebody who steal 30 plus batteries and smash them up,maybe a pissed off ex-employee?

They replaced all 30 plus batteries and went home.

Next morning all 30 plus batteries were stolen. Why steal the old ones?
