I am in Southern California on buisiness for about a week and a half. Part of this trip will require me to drive down to Yuma, AZ for a few days to visit a remote site for the site here in California. When I was looking at driving routes between here and Yuma it has me go through San Diego and hop on I-8 to Yuma.
Being that i'm from the other side of the country and all that I've been hearing about the violence in Mexico involving drug cartels. Have there been any incidents on this road that should make me consider taking a different route? And has Yuma had any issues with violence spilling over across the border?
reasonable caution all that is needed unless you are going to go off road near either side of the border fence I ride my dual sport on both sides of the border and have not seen anything that would make me stop doing so obviously you need to exercise prudence I stay out of the big towns south of th border and the loud bars
