Possible promotion!

    Possible promotion!

    In our warehouse we have 3 teams. There is VSE, AVPW and OEM... they are all acronyms for something, but I don't know what. Anyone who works in the Department of Defense knows they are all about acronyms Each team does it's own thing for the whole of the operation. Anyway I am on the OEM team, and we by far are the largest team in the warehouse. We have one supervisor (MTM3 - Material Team Member 3) and then the other 5 of us are all MTM1's. We have one shipper, our packer, the dock guy, the administrative assistant and me; the receiver.

    Well we just had our performance reviews and I was highly recommended by the warehouse manager to the Deputy VP of logistics to be promoted to MTM2 with a pay raise... only after a year with the company! I will find out tomorrow if I get it or not... it would make me a team lead if I get it. Hopefully I do

    Hope you get the promotion so I will give you an albeit early... Congratulations. It's nice to work somewhere that people recognize when you are working hard.

    My manager says I am loyal, have good work ethic, I train well and that he values my opinion... he would trust me to do any job on our team. I did bust my butt this year

    So maybe you are right... it wasn't luck.
