    The Four Rules ...

    ... of Toyota ownership:

    • Never point a Toyota at anything you do not wish to run over.
    • A Toyota is always in Drive.
    • Keep your foot off the accelerator until you're ready to go. Fast.
    • Be sure of your parking space... and what is beyond it.

I will be looking at my 1999 Tacoma in a whole new light now.

I'm glad I have a 97 Tacoma! Way before the problems encountered by the newer ones. My worst fear is to have her totalled and have to get a new one.

So true, and, yes, well aware of that particular problem, but Toyota sent me something in writing stating they will extend the rust through warranty for as long as I have the truck. So far, no rust problems. We have a state inspection and the guy always checks the undercarriage for any significant rust or rust holes. It won't pass inspection if there is any major rust through.

I'm just not "pointing" my loaded Toyota at anyone. It could accidentally discharge, ya know!!

Especially if it's one of those evil, black, semi automatic, high capacity, assault Toyotas!

I have not had a negligent discharge with my 1996 Tacoma and it has been through some rough stuff, and has over 300,000 miles.

I did find that a 1989 Toyota Camry is very effective for deer hunting.

Geeez, I hope my 1980 Long Bed isn't on any recall lists. At least it get's me where I need to go---most of the time.

I was at the Walmart putting groceries in my American Built Truck (GMC)...

when one of those did a U-turn moving with sweeping motion! Needless to say everyone in the lot was alarmed. I did sweep aside my cover garment and flashed my CCW Badge just in case...

Weren't they trying to ban gas tanks over 10 gallons a few years ago? That way, when Toyota's do attack they could only go 300 miles?

    It's safer right?

After all why would anyone need more than 10 rounds - I mean gallons.

I guess my F250 must be one of those evil assault trucks, since it has a 38 gallon tank and a 50 gallon tank, plus it's fully automatic.
