    Some that pop up that aren't computer lingo, that still leave some people scratching heads are things like:

    ACP = Automatic Colt Pistol
    WCF = Winchester Center Fire
    SOCOM = Special Operations COMmand
    GAP = Glock Automatic Pistol

    If I think of more, I will add them to this list, but this is what comes off the top of my head.

    thanks guys. I'm actually compiling all this in a very usable format on notepad. when it gets large enough (it's pretty big already) I'll post it or give it over to the admins and/or mods. i think it would be very useful as they would be the shorts relating to CC instead of the millions used for world wide chat.

    Certainly, if you are noting them all down let one of us know later. Could be I can make up a small page as I did for Pic help and holster links - and so save Bumper any hassles.

    One other which is very peripheral but I guess describes me too
