Talking Combat Carry, its nice here

So, apparently I just went over 500 posts and now I'm a "senior member" (really odd because as far as I know, I'm one of the youngest regular contributors here, and many of you are two or three times my age). But I just thought I would take some time out of my day off school (snow day ) to thank Bumper, the Mod's and Administrators who do a great job of keeping everything running smoothly and the forum civil, and all the other members here. This is the best firearm forum I have found, and its a good place to come for a few minutes and get away from my books and studying. The amount of knowledge on this forum is staggering, too bad they don't offer college courses in this stuff. So once again, thanks to everybody on the forum, keep the knowledge and wisdom flowing so I can actually learn something in my last year of college.

I wholeheartedly agree. I had entertained the thought of getting a carry permit (albeit not all that seriously) beforehand, but upon discussing it with a friend and going home that night to look up information on the Internet, I found this site.

I hold CombatCarry responsible both for me getting my current carry weapon (Sig P239) as well as my permit, which I picked up last Friday.

Two months later, and I've been armed for 6 days now. It's a great feeling.

    Thank you.

Were are these free donuts you speak of Brian?

I had my permit about a month before I found this site, which I found off another forum that I still use mostly to lurk and find out gunsmithing infoor specific issues related to my carry weapon. It is a great feeling, isn't it Nate?

Good to see you enjoying the site Buckeye - and good also to see you being a regular contributor. You've done pretty good since November last!

You may be way younger than many of us but you have posted some good input which all helps grease the gears I welcome as Bumper does, all folks with a genuine interest in both learning and offering of info - we all learn, even at my age.

Only 134 months at your posting rate, and you will be able to catch up to P95! I concur, this is a great place. Buckeye, your posts have the insight of much more experience than your youth belies.

Not a chance. I can't imagine the number of posts P95 will have in 134 more months. I can't even get close to him....

I'm glad you guys enjoy the forum. It's why we do all this....

This is the only forum I belong to, I have looked at others but they just don't stack up to this one.
