Al, that function "failed" several months ago IIRC after either a server problem or forum upgrade (I don't recall which... ).

    I miss it, too...

Al, when Bumper reloads vBulletin for Defensive Carry anything that are not functioning right now should be repaired. At one time every time that Bumper did an update all the scripts had to be reloaded. If I understand correctly the latest version of vBulletin removes that restriction. We also have the problem of multiple updates having been applied and then having to move the whole board to a new server. Since Defensive Carry will be a clean install and since Bumper is working on it and will have it ready for prime time when the move occurs everything should be functional. The change over won't be quite as dramatic as the speed difference between the former host and our new one, but from what Bumper says there will be a difference in functionality and a small difference in speed.

You can adjust the "Location" value in the profile to contain more than just your city/state/country. If you add your carry gun ... voila!

I was planning on already having the name change done by now. So much for plans, my wife has me on a major "honey-do" list including the resurfacing of our own swimming pool. It will be a few weeks before I get us moved. I just don't have enough left in me after working all day in the yard. We'll get there.....

Or, just call "The Honey Do Man." Seriously... that's what my stepdad named his home improvement/contracting biz.

I'm looking forward to the name change. Especially if everything starts working again.

Thanks Bumper for the hard work.

Me too, Mike. I wish I had had time to have already made the move. But here in Arizona we try (at least I do) to get all of our annual yard and outside work done before it really gets too hot to work outside all day. Even mowing the yard (an acre) is dreaded until about 8:30 at night when it's so hot.

    I can surely understand that.

Before we moved here from South Alabama (Just 5 miles from the Gulf Coast) it was almost as bad. Not quite as hot but the humidity would just kill you.

West Tennessee is mostly pleasant compared to that.

I look forward to the name change too. I know I'm new around here but I've found this to be a great bunch, but I'm a bit hestitant to donate to an organization called "Combat Carry," It took me a while to decide to join. I pledge to make a donation to "DefensiveCarry.Com."

Thanks to the legendary "Bumper" and all the great folks here.
