    Need some help posting:

    Gentlemen,

I have been a member of this forum for sometime now, and have posted several times, although not a great many, and sold a couple of items as well.

I mostly hang out at the 1911 forum as ABC3 with somewhere around 800 posts.

My question is: I just posted a F/S item and it displays that post as #1.

Is there something I need to be doing, that I am unaware of ? I'm confident members of this forum will be, as I would, alittle sceptical of buying from a first time poster.

Any suggestions ? Thanks and keep up the good work.

Any posts on the 'sale' forum do not add to your post count, you could be a member for years but if you only sell stuff here then you will not gain a post count.
I brought the same topic up once on THR, I realized from the responses that anyone who has been a member for a year or longer and only sells things but has a low count can probably always be trusted.

If you are really not feeling good about this then PM Bumper, he'll give you a new post count, or just say 'hello' to lots of new members - this is what most high count people do.
