How Do You Surf The Forum?
I have developed a system that works, but does anyone have a smoother way of checking around the information in the threads?
What I do:
- Click on the DC.C tab in my browser.
- Click on "New Posts"
- Scan the Thread topics for interesting titles
- Look for the check mark on a Thread I posted before for a Reply.
- After scanning all the Threads, I again click on New Posts for new Threads
- Click on Quick Links and Mark Forums Read.
- Occasionally click on Store, User CP, etc.
- Click on the next tab in my browser.
Now if I can only figure out how to do a Search to get the same results as the New Posts shows for when I get sidetracked and come back two hours later and the original Threads are gone.

Quicklinks->Today's Posts, that'll show you everything for the last 24 hours, and divide it into what's new and what's not.

Hit "New Posts" for interesting stuff. That failing, I do searches on stuff that interests me, using the "advanced search" option, looking for magic words in the titles of threads.

Another thing that I found that I liked was setting up my bookmark to go to the new posts page, that way directly after log in it would take me there and save on or two mouse clicks.

Go to new posts.
As you scroll down the pages, 'right click' on any interesting thread and chose the 'open in new tab' option.
When you're done going through all the 'new posts' pages, you have all the interesting threads there in your browser ready to open one by one.
