Can I run IE and Firefox at the same time
I was looking for a smiley and ran into the spastic issue that was discussed back in March in the thread Smiley's and is seems that a lot of people are using Firefox. I have to use Internet Explorer due to some of the factory systems we access are set up to work with IE. If that's not bad enough, I have to stay on an older version too. How do some of these dark ages companies stay in business?
Can I have Firefox and IE on the same computer and have them both open at the same time without one of them
the other?
Thanks

I do it all the time. I nearly always use Firefox, but once in a while, I'll encounter some site where the site's creator hasn't seen the purifying light of Firefox and insists on making an Internet Explorer specific site. I just paste the URL into an instance of IE, do my business, and then hightail it out of IE as quick as possible.

Firefox is the bomb. Those not using it should give it a try.

Look for the add-on for Firefox called "Speed Dial".
It will open all of your favorite sites as a thumbnail and you just have to click on where you want to go. Really neat.

My wife is already sensitive to the amount of attention I give guns... I could just see her reaction to thumbing through pages of gun sites to get to her favorites...

Windows are windows. Sure you can look out a different window whenever you want. Neither one of them will blind you. I avoid IE as much as I can.

Which is a direct ripoff of an even better, faster browser, "Opera".
