Yes; that is what I was trying to convey in the HTML snippet I attached earlier. The link exists; there is just no content in it. In IE it renders with so little space between the dividers as to be nigh unto unclickable. Fortunately, Firefox puts some space there.
Still, there is some sort of bug hiding in there...
