It is a just sort of a random summary of some of threads, statistics, etc for those that come in to the base URL. I could just as easily have a redirect bring them to the opening forum page and not have to update the darned thing when we get major upgrades....
My vote is to redirect to opening forum page but no mater what you do or don't do someone is going to wish it the other way, So in the end it is really your call Bumper other forums I'm a member of have the same thing it must be some sort of forum etiquette thing.

    Bumper.

Can you make the banner at the top of each page hotlink to this address( http://www.defensivecarry.com/vbulletin/ )?

There is no link to the forum homepage anywhere.

Actually, on the bottom of that page there is a link:
    "DefensiveCarry Concealed Carry Forum"
Clicking that will take you to the 'vbulletin' page.

I believe that I will simply remove that product and redirect all traffic to the opening page of the forum unless I see overwhelming support for the CMS. This would allow me to streamline the forum upgrade process....

At one point people wanted to keep it although it doesn't seem like that's the case now. We have an upgrade coming soon so I'm thinking when that happens, it will be a good time to pull the plug on it. We'll give you credit for the movement. I've already had mine today....
