Backend Forum Work
I'm working on the backend of the forum right now, deleting some of the garbage we have collected over the years. You may notice a slowdown of the forum today as this is done, but it will, hopefully, reduce the amount of time it takes for our backups.
Thanks for your patience.

Absolutely not. We still have our first post available to our members.
When we changed names from CombatCarry to DefensiveCarry, upgraded the forum software, the gallery, photos (that had been converted over to the new gallery), etc. I left the old disabled installations on the server. It just occurred to me that all this was being backed up nightly every night. I am deleting over 500mb of unnecessary crapola that does nothing but weigh us down. I'm hoping to shave a few minutes off of our backup.
I'm also going to be removing the CMS (front page at http://www.defensivecarry.com) as discussed in this thread.

Thankyou Sir.
The CRS hit me sometime after 40. I fear it will only get worse...

Edit to add: I guess if I'd read all the way through I'd have seen that I somehow escaped the slaughter.

Hey boss, while you're at it, can you clean up the B/S/T section?

I don't delete threads or posts for cleanup, only back-end clutter. Old BST threads can be closed by the seller once an item is sold.
