Re: The Election (You should all read this)
Ok every body, I know there are a lot of us that are upset about the outcome of the election, I am as well.
Our policy re: non-2A politics has NOT changed.
There are two or three Obama related threads that are currently running, such as:
http://www.defensivecarry.com/vbulle...bama-wins.html
http://www.defensivecarry.com/vbulle...-gun-laws.html
http://www.defensivecarry.com/vbulle...bama-wins.html
The first and second ones are obviously related to our focus, the third is going to be short lived.
If you have posted, or are thinking about posting content that is not in keeping with our policy re: politics, it's going to get removed.
The staff as been working diligently to keep this from blowing up and I'd like to thank the members that are helping us via reported posts, keep up the good work.
For more info re: Forum Policy on politics, see the Forum Rules
9. We have learned from bitter experience that discussions of certain subjects (politics, religion, abortion, sexual orientation, etc) often degenerate quickly. For this reason, we generally discourage these subjects in our discussions. We also discourage "caliber wars" and the virtues of "open carry" topic; strongly encouraging you to take these discussions to other forums where these topics are the focus.
And Bumpers thread re: Politics, http://www.defensivecarry.com/vbulle...l-threads.html
I'd also like to point out that if you really want to discuss these issues with members of this forum, a lot of people have been joining Bumper's other forum: ConservativeStronghold.com • Index page which does discuss politics.
Also, definitely look at Bumper's take on this topic: http://www.defensivecarry.com/vbulle...tml#post895050 which is much more stern than previous policy.
OUT.

Thanks JD! I've stopped reading the "Obama" threads - some of the posts upset me and I have nothing civil to say in response. We lost, deal with it and move on. Courtesy first - we are all among kindred spirits here.

It takes more than the elected officials to make OR ruin a country. It primarily depends on the actions of we individual citizens. If you're not pulling for everybody...you're a burden to everybody. Chop wood, haul water, make a difference.
There are only TWO kinds of people in this world; those that describe the world as filled with two kinds of people...and those who don't.
