I was looking for a past post of mine so I could put that link in a thread. It seems that I have lost a whole slew of posts. Did the site lose data in one of the conversions/upgrades? Or are posts removed after a certain amount of time, like 6 months?
Preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse or Rapture....whichever comes first.

Searching is kind of funny, you get 200 results shown for your search, during your search did you play with the date options?
And no, posts don't go away due to age cutoff.

No, we did not lose any threads or posts during the upgrade. No, we do not remove any threads unless they break the rules. As JD said, though, we do limit the return on searches to 200 references. This is necessary to keep searches at a reasonable level and prevent full database scans. Everything you have ever posted is still here available to the world. Embarrassing isn't it.....

I've had similar experiences, even searched my own posts. Maybe the thread was deleted due to others violating the rules.
