I have a request for the members who use Photobucket or other image hosting sites:
Please re-size your images before you post them on DefensiveCarry.com.
An image size of 640 X 480 pixels (or smaller) is really quite sufficient for viewing, and is much better than the 1000 X 750 pixel (and larger) size images, especially for the members who use a dial-up Internet connection.
Photobucket, which is the host I use, makes it easy to re-size images. You can use pre-set sizes, or you can specify your own custom sizes.
Remember, this is just a request. I'm not trying to discourage anyone from posting photos (we all like pics, hence the popularity of the smiley.)
Just re-size them before you post them.
When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.
I agree with Captain Crunch, large graphics throw the the forum into a scroll right/left situation that is sort of funky. You can also post these photos to the DefensiveCarry gallery which is free and provides some features some of the photo posting sites don't have....
