Site info, thread titles not updating

There was a thread about a week ago, here, about this. I've had the problem intermittently for the last few days. The way I know I'm in the middle of it, when I log in, it doesn't update the last time I visite the site. Best I can tell, it shows the last visit when everything worked properly.

I'm not sure about the problem because I can't reproduce it. From report of it being fixed seems to have been before the actual maintenance was run so it appears to have cleared itself up rather than me doing anything to fix it. Since some of that is controlled by cookies, I would suggest logging completely off the site, flushing cache, deleting the cookies and then logging back on and see if that fixes it. That suggestion may have no effect on it, but cookies are easily corrupted and very well could have happened when the site was unreachable during our outage. Let me know if that does or does not fix the problem....

I did as you suggested earlier this morning, but no effect. When I just logged on, it showed the correct time that I was last on, and thread titles were properly updated. Got my fingers crossed.

Good deal, I'd like to pinpoint the cause of it, but it just seems like a random, but short lived, nuisance. I'll keep mine crossed, as well....

It could be as something as that we just overwhelmed the server and it shut down. Considering it was so close to the airing of the 20/20 special that is a real possibility.
