Suggestion: "Hot Thread" requirements
I think the current setting is at "10 replies or 10 views" for a thread to go from normal to "hot". I think it's safe to assume 99.99% of the threads here reach that in a matter of minutes, or at the most hours. Just my opinion of course, but it kind of takes away from the whole idea. I think increasing the requirements a tad would help users see what the really hot threads are.
Just something I noticed and something I'd throw out there.

Not a bad idea, actually. I made that setting back years ago and it has really never been looked at since. Back then if a thread got 10 views it would have been a record. We're a long way past that now.
Thanks for the suggestion!

I bumped it to 35 posts or 100 views before a thread is considered "hot"....
