Local Burger King is OC Friendly

I carry "full time", but "seldom" open carry ( although WA St. allows)

Early this eve, I and another NRA TC were heading to teach an Instructor's Class & Decided to stop at a "Burger King" in a very busy urban location, just outside "liberal Seattle", ( Pierce Co.) to "grab" some food 1st.

Neither one of us were wearing any NRA visible ID, but were carrying OTW rigs, ( mine a 4" S&W 66 & his a 1911.) The eve was warm for the Seattle area & in the rig we had taken off our Jackets.

    Here "in lies" the story.

We hoped out & both of us "realized" we were OCing as we started in. We looked @ each other, & said "what the hell " & went in. The place was full. ( Parents with kids, teenagers etc.)

The RESULT = No one even gave us a "raised eye brow", including the Mgr. that happened to wait on us . To top it off , as we were leaving 2 Co. LEOs were coming in. They just SMILED & gave us a "nod"

Have it your way. Exactly the way it should be. Kudos to your local companies.

For Seattle, I'd say that it was quite an accomplishment...the sheep didn't stampede...

Glad to hear there are still some sensible people around Seattle.

But in this case the City is about 10 mi.s S. of Seattle & not in "kKng County" but in Pierce County & is actually in the "heart" of the area where, last year 7 LEOs, were MURDERED, plus several other , & the people's attitude" about being armed has DRASTICALLY changed. I'd bet money that even the Deputies thought you guys were LEO's. Robbers enter with their guns drawn.

    But I doubt it.

We both are "Grey Beards" ( think 68 = me & 60 + = Him.) & even with the "LEO manpower shortage" the Dept.s are NOT that DESPERATE

Under the circumstances, it sounds more like no one noticed.

Especially outside Seattle, they probably just don't expect to see such a thing.

    Maybe...
