I wish every OC could be like this
I was OC'ing yesturday, and i had my spare mags and OC spray on my weak side. I went to my friends house, went to the store, and stopped at an Enzo's pizza, on the way in the painter who was working on their sign asked if he could ask me a question. I said sure, why not. He wanted to know how to get his permit and get his gun, he told me that he did not know why he felt he needed one, just that he felt that he might need one in the future, so he wants one now. I referred him to my gun shop and told him how to go through the permit process. he thanked me and i went on my way. while i was eating a big knarly biker dude (full leathers, long hair, beard, and sunglasses) came in and sat down and started eating his meal, i know he knows i was aware of him, because i saw him looking at my magazines and keeping an eye on me as well. another gentleman who was in the resturant approached me and began a conversation about carrying, and asked me what i had. i told him and he made the comment, really there is no difference in the performance of a firearm, its the owner and the preference of the person carrying. the biker guy then came over and we all started talking about carrying, long story short we all got to know one another, finished our meals and got to know each other. Long story short, on one stop, i was able to help someone get information on getting a permit, and made two new range buddies, good day

That certainly ranks right up there with one of the best OC experiences I've heard of. Cheers!

Great Post!!! Glad to hear you got to know more gun friendly people where you go for a meal. If you ever see them in there again, I'm sure the eatery will be a better place all around.

Nothing like a gun story to bring a tear to your eye...

I feel all warm and fuzzy now... but no OC is a downer for me... thus, balanced.

Back when I use to OC I had a gal ask me if I was expecting on shooting somebody. I said no, but then again its only two-o’clock.

Great story! Always nice to hear of folks being cordial to each other, firearms involved or not.
No OC in Arkansas. Doubt I'd OC the majority of the time anyhow. I'd rather not draw extra attention. Not saying that it's a bad idea for others, just that it's not something that I'd be comfortable with. I salute those who do, tho.
