Reminds me of my cross-chest carry rig for my .44 Ruger Redhawk with scope. I used it for hunting in Washington because 1) It was only one of two handguns that could fire a load which met the minimum 100-yrd energy requirements and 2) It was the only gun I had.
One day after hunting we stopped by Pizza Hut, and instead of removing it, I simply kept it covered (I had a CC permit). Two LEOs spotted the bulge immediately, but were very cool about as I simply grinned, handed them my permit and said, "I'm heading home from hunting."
Why is it "shall not be infringed" is among the most misunderstood clauses of our Constitution?
I'm a Virginia Tech Alum, and that tragedy was avoidable! Even after losing more than twenty bright young minds, they still don't get it. I hope others do, and soon.
