Jeeze, the guy had a knife... I hope if he got arrested for it, he was at least carrying one of those Crocodile Dundee specials...

Thankfully I've never had to live in one of those crazy states that makes every effort to bypass the Constitution. If I'm lucky, I never will either!

That was good. However, it was not the end of the story.

It's a start, and we'll see more after the Nov 2 elections. I went out for a open carry dinner last night. Pretty much everyone in the restaurant was open carrying. Not one incident in the 3.5 hours i was there.

It is bad in your state. Kalifornia, has been a slippery down hill slide for a very long time. The few remaining liberty loving Americans in your state really need to band together and liberate your state from that second generation nazi running your state. Kalifornia is having a negative effect on the entire country. Can you say Nancy Pelosi.
Just because things were worst in Nazi Germany does not mean that communist Russia was a good place to live.

Lets just hope that if it does get pushed up to higher courts that it is a case that is clean and actually has merrit. If this guy is some phycho with a bad history, it could get overturned at the highest level because of him and some judge not looking at the principle of the law, and then that would set a bad precident at a higher level.

I grew up and became a LEO in California and even though it is 'possible' to get a permit, self-protection is specifically outlined as not being 'just cause' to carry. I find it interesting that thousands of Californians are moving to Arizona each month, and they don’t seem to be wetting their panties about our gun laws. I can't imagine living in WI or IL where criminals have the support of the government.

There was another thread running on this before the case actually got tossed by the Judge. It had a link to the Judge's doc. It is an AWESOME read: http://www.wisconsinappeals.net/wp-c...0/Schultz1.pdf
We're all in favor of reducing violent crime. It's just that pro-gunners have a method that is proven effective. Anti-gunners don't.

Glad to hear something positive from a judge
If you carry a gun, people will call you paranoid. That's ridiculous. If I have a gun, what in the hell do I have to be paranoid for?
