While I'm not entirely in favor of open carry, I voted yes because I didn't like the wording of the "no" response. It made" concealed carry" sound gratuitous as in a gift to a spoiled child. I just don't think people are ready for open carry. The police couldn't deal with all the "man with a gun" calls.

I voted for open carry, but we are way behind on this one.

Way behind, folks. Of course, the poll is too stupid the manner in which it is worded.

That poll is worded HORRIBLY. For anyone not actually looking at the poll, here are the options:

No way. We have already given the gun lovers too much freedom with their guns in Florida. Now to just let them carry their guns openly and wave them at everybody? Are you nuts?

Absolutely yes. The vast majority of states allow people to carry guns openly. It is a right that all gun owners should have, despite the whining of the gun-hating liberals.

The No option leads people to assume that every gun owner wants to go around waving their guns in people's faces and the Yes option makes us all sound like bigots basically.

I voted yes but would much prefer carry concealed. As long as they don't take away carry concealed in exchange for open carry, Im fine with it.

We're up to 48% from about 20-something when I voted. Keep it up boys. We all know it's useless and unscientific, but it still makes us feel better to win right?

It's amazing how biased these polls are. Just look at the wording of of the 'No' answer. I bet their 'news' articles portray this same bias and lack of facts.

We're losing 51/49 with just over 2900 responses. Yes, it's another poorly worded poll designed to elicit a predicted response.

I don't like polls that are so qualified...should just be YES or NO.
