Does anyone do it? I always carry IWB with my shirt untucked, so my gun is never really exposed. There has been times when my shirt rises up...I haven't noticied people pointing or making an issue of it.

No, no one does it that I've seen. I spend a lot of time both rural and urban areas, and I've seen maybe one or two people open carrying.

I know of one or two people that do it.
I prefer concealed carry. Really the reaction you will get depends on the part of the state you are in.

I have never seen anybody OC other than cops, of course.

Thanks. I never saw flies march in unison.

I do sometimes. Iv never had any reaction from anyone. We ate at rallys on a very busy day on a busy road (no inside dining outside only) and nobody took a second look.

Generally, you run the risk of getting more "attention" in one of the 3 Cs (Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati).
I have spent my entire life of 27 years between Akron and Canton, having seen no open carry folks. Of course, this doesn't mean that it's not happening but it appears to be very rare.
I've lived in Ohio since I got out of the army back in 1964, and never seen anyone open carry. I, personally, prefer to carry concealed. Be the "grey man".![]()

I know a couple guys up NE that OC in Ohio, and they don't get any grief traveling around. Saw one guy OC at a wedding last week, in fact.
I have seen people OC here and there my entire life, but until recently always assumed they were LEO. I'd be comfortable with OC, but I too chose to keep it concealed for the element of surprise. I think the only time I'll likely OC is when I'm at the range and traveling too and from it.

Man in my neck of the woods peple would freak out and call the 5.0 in a heart beat. I too agree CC for me would be a better choice. It would be nice to have a get together just once and see everyone OC just for the heck of it. I wonder though if you could get arrested for inciting panic if some buggy soccer mom called about a man with a gun.
