I need to get my wife one of those, she refuses to use a gun. Can't argue with her, it's her choice - a bat is better than an unused gun.

I do have an old fashioned mahogany night stick. That might be cooler, but people might be quicker to assume that I'm a cop and everything is OK if I had that.

Whatever happened to the time you said you were going to OC exclusively for a week and report back with your findings/encounters, if any?

I had forgotten about that. I still should do it... but I the whole new OC movement kinda soured me on trying to help them at the risk of my own reputation.

I'll OC my stick. I think that might be more interesting anyway.

You should get one of those tiny bats (1/8th) that they give out at ball games and see the faces people give you. That would be intresting. Technically not a weapon a novelty item.

Neither is a full sized bat. Its a baseball bat... I think I'll wear one of those rings on my belt meant to hold a mag light, and put the bat it that.

I haven't found a good holster to carry mine in. What do you recommend?

Lima, do you and JD open carry ever or are you guys pretty well cc types. Here in Tejas we don't have OC at all, maybe soon just to decriminalize accidental disclosure.

    Stick

My office is in Cleveland (not downtown but one of the scarier parts) and every person walking around this area has a stick or a broom with them at all times.

So is this going to be with the hat, jersy, knee length britches, long tube socks and a chaw of tobacco on your way to a game, or just because you can?

If it is just because you can, make sure you take a video of it all, it has been screwed up day and I need something I can get a good laugh off of. Is there such a thing as MWB, man with bat call?
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

My wife OC's an aluminum softball bat when she walks the dog up at her parent's lake house. It's right in the middle of redneck hell and nobody leashes their dog. Just the sound of that metal bat bouncing off the pavement usually turns them around in their tracks.
