According to Open Carry.org MD is a licensed OC state. So like CC good luck on getting a license to OC.

In MD open and CC are treated as the same. You need a permit to carry openly. Some argue you can OC a long gun, but that is highly debatable.

MD comes in right behind NJ,NY,DC and CA when it comes to crappy firearms laws. You can't even travel with a firearm in your car unless you are going to or coming from a gun shop, range, or other organized shoot. Otherwise it's a felony.Stay away from this dump.

I wish you luck in obtaining your permit in that communist state.

I agree, stay away from this dump. I work in Baltimore occasionally. Can't wait to get home every time I'm working at University of Maryland in downtown Baltimore. Have to go there next week and then to Philadelphia. At least I can carry legally in Philadelphia, in case the flash mobs happen where I'm at.
